Sponsor a Mango Tree in Congo

Restore Lives

This is more than a project. It’s a return, a remembrance, and a revolution. Sponsor a tree. Volunteer your time. Help us restore what history tried to erase, and build something stronger in its place

Let's Cultivate Something Great

Restore lost connections and create a brighter future Congo Brazzaville together.

Matatchebo is a memorial, ecological, and innovative project that preserves and reimagines the stories of century-old mango trees lining the trail where over two million people were deported into slavery. Our mission is to transform a site of historic pain into a new story of renewal and resilience.

OUR MISSION

We are dedicated to reuniting families, restoring lost connections, and fostering economic growth and stability within the community.

Help us to connect descendants of those taken through the Atlantic slave trade with their roots in the Loango Bay, while building a sustainable economic system for those who were left behind.

Ways you can join the mission:

Make a Donation

Every amount you give helps restore history, replant sacred mango trees, and support educational programs rooted in remembrance and renewal. Your contribution directly funds community events, youth materials, and the preservation of ancestral paths. No amount is too small to grow a legacy of peace

Ways you can join the mission:

Become a Volunteer

As a volunteer, you’ll support reforestation efforts, community events and educational materials, locally or abroad. Your presence is a powerful part of the healing through forgiveness.

Ways you can join the mission:

Host a Fundraising Event

Bring your community together to support a mission with global impact. Whether it’s a community event or creative gathering, hosting a fundraiser helps raise awareness and vital resources for the Matatchébo project. Together, we can plant the seeds of remembrance around the world.
